3 & OUT REPORT... WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AGAINST MIDDLE TENN ST.

The Georgia Bulldogs are on their way home to play in front of 92,000+ fans this week after last weeks road trip to Columbia. All the questions about this team and its future may of been answered by mid-afternoon last Saturday. The Bulldogs had the game in hand by the end of the 3rd Qtr with a score of 41-10. The Starters were mostly pulled in the 4th qtr. The Defense looked stout only surrendering 54 yards rushing. The offense held it own while having 3 different running backs over 40 yards and each had a touchdown.

Now its onto Week 3 of the season against a Middle Tennessee State team (1-1) that has already faced one SEC opponent this year in Vanderbilt (35-7 Loss). The game has been moved up to a noon kickoff on ESPN NEWS due to Hurricane Florence's approach to landfall. Georgia welcomes the earlier game time as it gives them a little more time to get ready for a road trip to Missouri the following week. The Bulldogs are currently -32.5 favorites. Below are the 3 position groups we are going to be following during this weeks game that we believe will be the major factors in deciding the outcome of the game. We will also have a score and game prediction as well.

DAWG NEWS DAILY'S 3 & OUT:

1) Justin Fields: Field is expected to see a good bit more playing time on Saturday against MTSU. We are excited to see how hes developed since we last saw him against Austin Peay. He only threw one pass against South Carolina so we aren't counting that game. Seeing Fields run the RPO and QB draws against Austin Peay got Dawgnation salivating for more! Will he do it again this Saturday or will it be a vanilla offense before a trip to Missouri?

2) Running Backs: Dawg Fans know what we have in D'Andre Swift and company. We just haven't gotten to see a lot of it! We expect Swift to get 10 carries at most. We are looking forward to carries for Holyfield, Herrien and mostly Cook. Holyfield made us do double takes as his style looks to be very similar to Nick Chubb's. Herrien and Cook look to be explosive runners just chomping at the bit. Look forward to their chance on Saturday.

3) Backups in Secondary: It looks like Deandre Baker, JR Reed, Richard Lecounte, and Tyson Campbell are running with the 1st team thus far. We are interested in the reps the guys behind them will get. William Poole, Otis Reese, Mark Webb, and Chris Smith should be getting all 2nd half snaps. How do they hold up to a pretty decent passing attack? Need to know this week before a trip to Missouri next week.

Game & Score Prediction:

UGA is favored by -32.5 pts. Expect the bulldogs to showcase a little bit of everything on Saturday to make sure each position is tuned up before a trip to Columbia, MO. We expect UGA to try and put a knock out punch in the middle of the 2nd qtr to help get the backups some more run in the 2nd half.

SCORE: UGA Wins 48-7
