DAWG NEWS DAILY
At a 2nd Glance - UGA/UT MARTIN

Each Sunday the staff at Dawg News Daily rewatches Saturday's game and offers tidbits and views we might not of caught during the live action.
*Looked a little sluggish to begin with. Both offensive and defensive lines seemed to struggle to get penetration against a much smaller UT Martin.
*Wide Receivers Ladd McConkey and Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint were held out due to precaution. McConkey has a back issue that he's been dealing with per Coach Smart
*QB Carson Beck was an efficient 21-31 for 294 yards. Beck had a few passes he probably wanted back where he threw behind the receivers which would of gone for good yardage.
*Beck seemed a little reserved in the pocket and not wanting to let it rip. He did make some nice plays with his legs scoring a 2nd quarter touchdown.
*Transfer Dominic Lovett and RaRa Thomas got their first action in a Dawg uniform. Thomas had 1 catch for 56 yards and Lovett had 3 for 25.
*For the running back committee, Kendall Milton led the Dawgs with 9 rushes for 53 yards. freshman Roderick Robinson had 8 rushes for 50 yards. Robinson looks to be a big back in the mold of Milton and Zamir White.
*At the end of the first half, Georgia had some clock management issues. With :20 seconds left, The Dawgs tried running the ball from the 5 yard line that got stuffed and forced the dawgs to eventually kick a field goal. Whether it was a call from the sidelines or read from QB, it was the wrong call and something Fans ultimately point at the new offensive coordinator Mike Bobo.
*Lots of young Dawgs got action. Some that seemed to flash their talents: CJ Allen, Gabe Harris, AJ Harris, Mekhi Mews, CJ Smith, and Kyron Jones who was on the receiving end of a tipped ball and took it 26 yards for a pick-6.
*Ultimately, Dawgs produced 559 total yards, which would of been the fourth-most in a single game during last year's national championship season.
