Athens, GA- The UGA program is in a position they haven't been in since 1981. The Bulldogs are coming off their 1st National Championship since 1980. Georgia is ranked #3 in the preseason coaches & AP poll. UGA loses a lot from the 2021 squad, 15 overall NFL draft picks including 5 drafted in the 1st Round.

In years past, Fans and media experts would expect a step back from national prominence after such a departure.
