Georgia Lands Ten Players To Preseason All-SEC Team



ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia’s football team had 10 players named to Preseason All-Southeastern Conference Team, according to a preseason poll of media covering this week’s SEC Media Days.

In addition, the Bulldogs were picked to win the SEC Eastern Division and had the second-most votes to be named the 2021 SEC champion.

Senior N Jordan Davis and senior P Jake Camarda gave Georgia a pair of First Team selections while junior QB JT Daniels, junior RB Zamir White, junior WR George Pickens and senior OL Jamaree Salyer were included on the Second Team. Junior defensive lineman Travon Walker, junior ILB Nakobe Dean, junior S Lewis Cine and junior WR/RS Kearis Jackson were named to the Third Team.

The Bulldogs open their 2021 campaign versus Clemson in the Duke’s Mayo Classic in Charlotte, N.C., on Sept. 4. The matchup will be televised by ABC at 7:30 p.m.
