Media Predicts SEC Title game rematch; 11 Dawgs selected to All-SEC

As expected, the media who cover the league see the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide meeting once again in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Dec. 7 to play for the SEC title.

Last year, Alabama rallied to win 35-28 last year after coming back to win 26-23 in overtime in the national title game in the same venue.

Alabama received 203 votes to win the SEC and Georgia was second with 49 in voting of those who attended SEC Media this week in Hoover, Ala.

Alabama had a record 12 selected All-SEC first team while Georgia had four.

For the Bulldogs, running back D’Andre Swift, offensive tackle Andrew Thomas, safety J.R. Reed and kicker Rodrigo Blankenship were first team selections.

Quarterback Jake Fromm, offensive guard Solomon Kindley and offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson were second team picks. Tight end Charlie Woerner, offensive guard Ben Cleveland, defensive lineman Tyler Clark and safety Richard LeCounte were third team selections.
