NEW SALARY INCREASES FOR UGA COACHING STAFF
ATHENS, GA- Back to Back National Championships will certainly earn a bonus in the paycheck, but most of the time it equates to a nice raise as well. Looks like each staff member got a nice bump in salary the University of Georgia recently announced.
As you will see below, Each on-field Coach got a nice raise. Defensive Coordinator Glenn Schumann and Offensive Coordinator got eye-popping raises. Schumann was openly courted by the NFL, but spurned the opportunity and decided to stay in Athens. Coach Mike Bobo was an offensive analyst last season was promoted to Offensive coordinator after Todd Monken decided to return to the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens.
Co-Defensive Coordinator Glenn Schumann $800,000 to $1.9 Million
Offensive Coordinator Mike Bobo $35,000 (Offensive analyst) to $1,000,000
Tight ends coach Todd Hartley increased to $850,000 after making $650,000 a season ago.
Offensive line coach Stacy Searels went from $655,000 to $750,000 in 2023.
Defensive backs coach Fran Brown got a $50,000 after making $750,000 last season.
Outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe got a $50,000 raise up to $500,000.
Receivers coach Bryan McClendon got a bump of $50,000 to $750,000
Running backs coach Dell McGee also got a $50,000 bump to $850,000.
Defensive line coach Tray Scott also got a $50,000 bump to $800,000
