UGA Defensive back Nyland Green Arrested


Athens, GA- UGA Cornerback Nyland Green has been arrested by Athens-Clarke County Police Department. According to reports, Green has been charged with two counts of misdemeanor reckless conduct, two counts of felony charges for carrying a weapon in a school zone, and one count of felony criminal damage to property. The police report has yet to be available to the public, so details are to come. Coach Kirby Smart has yet to comment.


Green, a freshman from Covington, GA Saw his first collegiate action as a reserve in Georgia's win over UAB, credited with two tackles vs. the Blazers He has also played in win at Vanderbilt. Green enrolled at UGA in January 2021 and participated in spring drills.
