The staff at Dawg News Daily reviewed the game again on Sunday and while there were many Bulldogs deserving... This weeks Domyown.com #DGD of the week is DB Eric Stokes.
Stokes is one of the faster players on the team with a Track background, stepped into punt coverage duties after Tyler Simmons went down with an apparent shoulder injury. This time UGA was onsides, as Stokes broke through the Mizzou wall and blocked the punt. In the same play he scooped up the ball and scampered 8 yards for a Touchdown! Stokes also contributed on the defensive side of the ball where he had a team high 4 pass-breakups.
